Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of the Resto POS application and related services ("the Service"). By activating or using the App you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. The Service

Resto POS is a point-of-sale and management application for restaurants, cafes and dhabas. It provides billing, sales reporting, expenses, inventory, recipe costing, profit & loss, shift management and encrypted cloud backup. The App is offline-first and syncs with our servers when online.

2. License & subscription

• The App is activated with a license key issued to a specific restaurant.
• Use of the Service is offered on a monthly subscription basis. Continued access requires the subscription to remain paid and active.
• If payment is overdue, the software may show warnings and, after a grace period, may be locked until payment is made. Your data is not deleted merely because the App is locked.
• The license is granted to one restaurant business; you must not resell, share or redistribute the license key or the App.

3. Your responsibilities

• Keep your license key and staff PINs confidential.
• Ensure the information you enter (including any customer details) is collected and used lawfully, and that you have the right to record it.
• Use the App only for lawful business purposes.
• You are responsible for the accuracy of your business, tax and pricing data.

4. Data ownership

Your business data belongs to you. We process it to provide the Service as described in our Privacy Policy. You may request export or deletion of your data (see the Data Deletion page).

5. Availability

The App is designed to work offline; however cloud sync, backup and licensing features require internet access and depend on third-party infrastructure. We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service.

6. Disclaimer & limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for loss of profits, revenue or data. You are responsible for maintaining and verifying your own records. Our total liability shall not exceed the subscription fees you paid in the three months before the claim.

7. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms or non-payment. On request we will delete your data as described in our policy.

8. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time; the "Last updated" date reflects the latest version. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.
